Kurt’s Flick Pick

The movie I recommend this month is Guardians of the Galaxy. Although this movie came out last month, I still believe it has been one of the best movies of the year. Guardians of the Galaxy is the newest film in the Marvel franchise. The movie is a perfect mix of action and comedy, taking influences from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Marvel’s own Iron Man. Chris Pratt and Bradley Cooper star in this movie, and have some of the funniest lines of the film. Every other character in this movie is just as memorable and funny; from the lovable Groot, to the wisecracking Rocket. This movie will be in theaters for the remainder of September and I highly recommend seeing while it is still available.
