One Direction, the most popular band in the world, has just completed their third headlining tour. The five boys, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson, have been a band for four years now, ever since they competed together on the X Factor UK in 2010. This year however, the boys embarked on a sold-out, stadium, world tour in 65 different venues all over the world in places like Latin America, Europe, and North America.

Out of all 65 shows in the Where We Are tour, one of them was particularly exciting for fans in Georgia. On October 1st, One Direction came to Atlanta. That Wednesday, as finishing touches were being made to the venue, fans made their way down to the Georgia Dome, all in anticipation to see the biggest band around. As 70,000 fans filled the Dome, 5 Seconds of Summer, the opening act, kicked off the fun-filled night with their song “Eighteen”. After 5 Seconds of Summer performed, and the intermission between the acts was coming to a close, One Direction was ready to take the stage. They opened the show with their hit song “Midnight Memories”. The band performed songs off of all three of their albums. Including “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing” from their first album Up All Night, “Kiss You” and “Little Things” from their second album Take Me Home, and “You and I”, “Best Song Ever”, and “Story of my Life” from their third album Midnight Memories, just to name a few. In total, One Direction performed 24 different songs. The whole night was a perfect mixture of good times, smiles, tears, and even love (a couple got engaged on the jumbotron!). After Atlanta, One Direction only had two more shows until the entire world tour would be completed. The last show was in Miami, Florida on October 5th.

As for what is next for the boys, their fourth studio album Four is set to be released on November 17th. Also, they have already started ticket sales for their next tour, On the road Again.
