Spring Sports have been putting in the work recently as some teams are doing fantastic, while other teams are trying to get back on track. Both Lacrosse teams have been surging through their respective seasons. The baseball team is having a challenging year. Both soccer teams are also driving through the year. Meanwhile, the track teams are having a championship quality year and the golf teams are also thriving.

The boys lacrosse team has been dominating opponents so far as they are undefeated with a record of 8-0. They have had crushing wins over every opponent they have faced. No one has been within five points of the Longhorns this year. The girls lacrosse team has had an okay year sitting at .500 with a 4-4 record. They started off the year strong but have fell off as of late. They hope to bounce back and finish on high note.

The baseball team has had a less than desirable year as they are currently sitting at 5-10. It has been a bumpy road for the Longhorn boys, however, they won yesterday against Milton 8-7 and this could be a momentum shift for the boys as they can look to change the narrative that they will not be pushed around.

The boys soccer team has impressed many with a 9-2-1 record. They are having a spectacular season, especially with a recent rout of North Forsyth with a score of 9-0. The girls soccer team is having a sold season as they are 6-4-1. They are behind a couple of teams in the region, but they hope to go ahead of some teams as they are gaining some confidence after a win against North Forsyth by a score of 2-0.

The spring sports are almost coming to an end and each of the teams will need to make a push in order to truly compete for a highly coveted state championship.
