Clare Reid, Sports Editor
I’m a senior here at Lambert. This is my third year on the newspaper staff, and I’m the sports section editor. Last year, I was the copy editor. I’m huge into writing – I want to major in creative writing next year in college. Additionally, I’ve received nine Reflections awards for my writing, been published in an anthology of poetry by children, attended the 2014 Sewanee Young Writers’ Conference for Poetry, was a spelling bee champion, was recommended for Governor’s Honors Program in Communicative Arts, and have written and delivered numerous speeches about and for the youth of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. I’m a Sharon Mentor, a project leader for National Honor Society, an officer in the marching band, a Girl Scout working on my Gold Award, and I’m also in Mu Alpha Theta, National Latin Honor Society, Junior Classical League, Beta Club, Student Council, and Compass. I play the piccolo and the flute in the band, and I always have my nose in a book. I love writing for the Lambert Post, and I can’t wait for you all to see what we have in store this year.
