Prom 2022
Now that spring break is over, many of our Lambert students will be looking forward to Prom!
Many students are getting excited to ask out their girlfriend or boyfriend to go with them to the dance. Amanda Pelay, who was asked to prom by her boyfriend, explains the feeling that she got when her boyfriend popped the question.
“When I walked into my boyfriend’s house, there were candles everywhere,” Pelay described. “He had a huge sign asking me to be his prom date and I of course said yes!”
The night will be filled with dancing and good times. There will be snacks for each and every student to enjoy at the prom. The location is also very interesting because it is located in Atlanta in a train depot. This is a twist in contrast to last year’s venue in a barn.
Many girls and boys are ecstatic to get their prom outfits. The sparkly ball gowns that line the racks are being bought so fast that if you don’t get shopping soon, you will be stuck with the bottom of the barrel ugly dresses. Jimena Ruano explained the process of getting her dress.
“My dress is the prettiest blue color and it even has pockets,” Ruano stated. “However, it was kind of hard to find because of the prom frenzy.”
Everyone knows that prom isn’t just prom. You have to consider dinner, rides and even after parties. Dinner has to be up to the highest standard as tonight is extremely special and many people are dropping large amounts of cash to have a grand meal. The night gets even more expensive when many prom goers are getting limos and party buses.
April 30th will be a night to remember. The theme will be, “Let the Night Roll” and it starts at 7 p.m. at the Georgia Freight Train Depot. We all hope to see you there!
