Lambert’s International Club serves as a melting pot for students from all over the world. Not only does the club promote inclusivity and global awareness among its members, but it also creates meaningful cross-cultural connections and friendships.

“International Club is meant to educate and integrate our students who come from diverse backgrounds,” Founder and President Julia Rho stated. “Our goal is to help Lambert students appreciate their own as well as others’ cultures.”

One of the key aspects of the International Club is facilitating events where various cultures showcase important parts of their heritage, whether it be their music, fashion, cuisine, etc. Students have the opportunity to connect with their roots and ancestry by participating in a variety of festivals and events, including their upcoming International Night. The International Night will feature music/dance performances and delicious foods from all over the globe.

The International Club’s members take great satisfaction in their ability to eliminate prejudice and promote egalitarianism. The organization holds frequent meetings where members have insightful discussions and showcase presentations that promote these ideals. By attending meetings, students have the opportunity to learn about several worldwide issues and global events occurring. This not only broadens their perspectives but also equips them with the compassion and empathy needed to become better citizens and leaders.

Despite being a very new organization, the club has already recruited many new members across all grade levels and is continuing to expand its reach.

“On March 28th, we are hosting a schoolwide International Festival,” Rho stated. “Parents, siblings, friends, and anyone in the community is welcome to join and enjoy a night full of performances and a tour all around the world.”

Hoping to see the organization reach a wider audience throughout the school, members and officers continue to market the club via social media, fundraisers, and community events. We are eager to witness Lambert as integrated as ever before with the help of the International Club.
