Once Upon a LALO Fest
Last Saturday, Lambert High had a thrilling homecoming party with the theme as “Once Upon a Time.”
While the festival was originally supposed to be outdoors, it was moved to the cafeteria due to the rain.
An LHS sophomore, Abby Moore, talks about how she would rather have the party be indoors, unlike the previous year, and she continues on about the food trucks that were outside, “It was hard to stay dry, but it was fun because there were other people out there that we could talk to.”
The night consisted of popular music, food trucks, ball pits, photobooths, and hitting the dance floor! The DJ played many rap hits, and later into the night, he also played classic 80’s songs.
“Dancing was really fun and so was the ball pit, and it was a really fun night,” Moore shares.
Food trucks handed out fries, ice-cream, sodas, and tacos, and Abby explains that she got some delicious cookies and cream ice cream from the food truck.
Every year, LALO Fest tickets sell for $20 each, and the festival lasted from 7 to 11 p.m., and Moore explains that she enjoyed staying the entire time, and she claims that it was worth the money.
She also compared the previous and this year’s LALO Fest and shares, “It was a lot more fun than last year because of the different theme and it how it was inside.”
It had been an exciting homecoming party with many wonderful students and memories, and we hope the years to come are just as fun!
