The Homecoming Game Was Mind-Blowing
Lambert’s Homecoming Football game was Friday, October 18th. The Lambert football team lost to the North Forsyth Raiders by four touchdowns, making this the seventh loss of the season.
The first quarter ended with a score of 21-7 Raiders lead. Lambert’s touchdown was scored by number 14, Jack Stewart, with 30 seconds left in the last quarter. Lambert’s second touchdown was scored by number 11, Kojo Antwi, with 9:47 left in the second quarter. The second quarter ended with a score of 35-14, the Raiders still in the lead.
Homecoming court was announced during halftime. The 2019 Homecoming King was Adriel Carrion, and the Homecoming Queen was Elena Lopez.
The third quarter ended with a score of 49-14, and with 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Darren Guy scored a touchdown. The final score of the game was 49-21.
The team’s next chance at victory is this Friday, October 25th. The team will play at Central High School at 7:30 pm.
