Every club at Lambert fills its own individual niche, from model kit building to humanitarian causes and creative writing. For Lambert’s Entrepreneurship Club, the plan is simple: help students develop their own businesses and teach them how to grow and thrive.
Sophomore Paritosh Garg heads the organization, and his experience includes his clothing company Needy2. Garg says he was inspired by his parents to start the club, and his mission is to help students prepare for the real world through business education.
“We want to help the students in Lambert get interested in business, [and] we want to spark their interests,” Garg said.
Entrepreneurship Club also has offered opportunities for students to build their own successes. For example, the club sold snacks and drinks at a chess club meeting, afterwards analyzing data to find ways to improve.
According to Garg, the goal for the club is more hands-on activities, with ideas such as running a vending machine floating around in the past.
The club also makes a point for philanthropy, sending its profits to non-profits such as Meals by Grace, a local charity that focuses on feeding food-insecure families in the area.
