Lambert’s Paw it Forward Club
The Paw It Forward club is a student-led organization that was created for students who are interested in pursuing a career in veterinary science. Students engage in hands-on learning and get to interact with animals in monthly meetings in room 1625.
“The goal of the Paw It Forward club is to encourage students to participate in hands-on activities and help the animals in our community,” President Erika Tan said. “Common activities include making blankets to donate or making dog treats.”
The Paw It Forward club also learns about and socializes with Lambert’s therapy dog program during their meetings. Recently, they also held a fundraiser during Valentine’s day, selling cake pops and “duck quackers,” which are treats for dogs. Resulting in a success, Lambert’s Paw It Forward managed to raise almost $200!
This club strives to help the pets around our community make an impact on the lives of many animals.
“I think that people should join this club to participate in fun opportunities and be able to help the animals in our community,” Tan said.
