“The 5th season of Disenchantment was pretty good,” Lambert junior Taylor Lloyd noted. “I think they did a good job with the pacing and development. It wasn’t slow-paced like some other shows out there and I was anxious to see what was going to happen after each episode.”
Many viewers, including Lloyd, appreciated the pacing and development in the 5th season. They found it engaging and fast-paced, keeping them eagerly anticipating each episode to see how the story would unfold. “The plot was like a fantasy story, but the comic reliefs every now and then made it lighthearted and funny,” Lloyd explained. “I tend to get bored easily by overly serious movies or shows.”

“They should’ve kept Mora the Mermaid dead instead of resurrecting her,” Lambert sophomore Joshua Suh said. “It would’ve made more sense in terms of the plot. I think shows that aren’t afraid to let go of audience favorites tend to be more interesting and memorable.”
The decision to resurrect a character can sometimes feel like a cheap ploy to generate drama, and in this case, it left some viewers questioning the impact of character deaths in the series. Additionally, it can raise concerns about the consistency of storytelling and the willingness of the creators to take risks in order to push the narrative in new and unexpected directions.
Despite these mixed opinions, Season 5 of “Disenchantment” remained a strong addition to the series. With its excellent pacing, character development and a balanced blend of adventure, it delivered an engaging and entertaining experience that had viewers eagerly awaiting the next chapter in Bean, Elfo, and Luci’s fantastical journey.
