Success is a term that can only be defined by the person it is being used to define. I can show anyone a million and one different definitions of the word itself but its true meaning comes from within. Success is measured in so many different ways that it is practically impossible to pinpoint the key to unlocking the great prize of succeeding; but here’s the truth, my definition of success is different than most peoples and most peoples are probably different from their parents’, but guess what? That’s okay! Don’t get so caught up in other peoples’ definition of success that it causes a draft in the way you define success. While yes, it is great to make other people proud, at the end of the day the person making the decisions is the one who has to deal with the decisions that they’ve made. Living in other people’s perception of greatness limits ones own perception of greatness. It would be awesome if we could just make an app that says step by step on how to achieve greatness or if someone could right it all down in a nice organized list but unfortunately that’s not how this world works. If someone wants to earn the title of success they have to work for the title of success. Nothing in life that is worth having is just given to someone, if we want something we have to go get it otherwise we don’t really want it.
