Forsyth County’s Duck Dive
Annually, Forsyth County Schools hold a fundraiser to provide grants to students and teachers across the community. Essentially, the Duck Dive is a raffle that anyone can enter with the purchase of a duck for $10.
Each duck is numbered then thrown in a pond for the raffle. The more ducks adopted, the more chances you have of winning the prize. The prize is $10,000 to whoever’s duck is chosen and all proceeds from duck adoptions will go back into Forsyth’s schools and to teachers all over the county. The Duck Dive is important to teachers and families all over the community to meet students’ needs in schools. These grants provide supplies and more and last year, over $115,000 was raised for FCS staff.
The raffle will begin at 1 PM on April 1st at the Cumming Aquatic Center, and the last day to adopt ducks and participate in this opportunity is March 25th. To adopt a duck, go on
