Christmas Time is Here, but are Your Gifts?
Christmas time is rapidly approaching and many people may be in a dilemma about what to get for their friends and family. While the holiday season isn’t all about gifts, it sure is the most fun part!
The most important thing to remember is that the best gift to your family is yourself! However, if that is not enough, senior Jazmin Pinkney has some very good ideas on what to buy.
“My go-to gift for my family is definitely shoes,” Jazmine provided. “ My family really enjoys all different types of shoes and I want to be able to give them what they love!”
Another good gift for the family is any homemade good. This could be a card or even their favorite dessert! Parents and grandparents especially appreciate anything that their loved ones make for them.
Friends are a different story when it comes to gifts. A simple candle or blanket should be enough, but if you have a really close friend, ideas can get tricky.
Maddie Clemons, a student at Lambert High, luckily does not have this problem. She takes the holiday season as a chance to show her appreciation for her friends.
“Fuzzy socks are my go-to,” Maddie explained. “But, if it is for someone more specific, I would get them a poster of their favorite singer.”
For a close friend, personalization is very important to make sure that they feel valued by you. Getting them something they like is the way to go. If they like a certain TV show, you could give them a t-shirt from the show.
Finding the perfect gift is not always easy, but these simple ideas are sure to help you in your search! For more ideas check out this website.
