KSU Student Killed During Shooting at Apartment Complex
An encounter with a gunman left one dead and two wounded due to a dispute over loud music in an apartment around Kennesaw State University‘s campus on Sunday at 11:40 a.m.
The deceased victim, Oluwafemi Oyerinde, unfortunately died at 18 as a student attending KSU. The two other wounded victims, Khalil Bennett and Jarius Bonner, are both 18 but do not attend KSU.
The deceased victim’s cousin and friends stated that the shooter was angry that they were playing loud music. The apartment they were in was an off-campus apartment. There has been no official arrest yet, and very few details released. The Cobb County Police is asking for details and has said to send them to 770-499-3945.
