Coach Clayton Wages is the head Varsity Basketball coach for Lambert. This is his first year being the head coach, and he has been an assistant coach for the past 4 years.

Last year, the teams faced conflict due to COVID-19. They had to social distance, and many fans could not attend and watch the games.  The year was overall very challenging for everybody.

Moving forward, the year got better and the performance of the team improved drastically. As of now, Coach Wages expects his team to play hard and try their best. He also has goals not only in terms of competition but in teamwork as well.

“It [is] my job to put them in positions where they can showcase their talents,” Coach Wages explained.  “It helped them get to that point as a team.”

The team is preparing for this season’s 25 upcoming games this season, along with a region state tournament, so make sure to look out for their upcoming games!
