Lambert students showcase their talent at Variety Show
Lambert students and administration gave a whole new meaning to the word “talent” at the Variety Show this past Friday. The show contained acts of singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, magic, etc.
Isabella Rakhlis opened the night with the song “Rise” and was followed by Dr. Charles Hyatt with an interactive act, a Kahoot game where the word “ted” was in every answer. After him, Gabi Berube performed “I Know Where I’ve Been” from the musical, Hairspray. She was superseded by Matthew Schmid with his final stand-up comedy act over the past 4 years. Skylar Ragsdale followed up Matthew’s comedy with her spin on Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years”, and the Lambert Orchestra came after with a short performance.
Some of the other acts included Bollywood dance, LHS administration with a mash up of different songs, Aisle 3, a local band performing an original called “Streets of London,” the Lambert Magic Jacks, and the Improv Troupe of Lambert. Various other Lambert students sang throughout the night.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the vast talent displayed by Lambert students, who made this night one to remember.
