After six years in music performance, SungMin Park transitioned his focus to writing at the start of senior year. Journalism offered a way for him to transform his writing and multi-media skills into a service instead of a mere pastime. Graduating in 2016, he hopes to study history or linguistics after high-school. History would provide the global context for all of his journalistic aspirations. Linguistics would allow him to analyze and teach any language, enabling others to join in a global conversation. Beyond his dreams, Park spends most of his time with his family, church, and a small posse of friends.
