As the sun sets on the 2024 school year, this year’s senior class has organized a way to end the year with a bang. For the first time in Lambert High School’s history, the senior class will be hosting a game of Senior Assassin, not sanctioned by the school.

In this exciting game, participants are grouped into teams of two, with each team receiving another team as a target. The goal of the team is to eliminate their target with a water gun.

This will continue until every player has been eliminated but one.

Seniors Faith Lee, Sydney Carmichael and Julia Szlek are the main organizers of this event. Their main goal was to bring the senior class together.

“It’s our senior year!” Lee stated. “We only have two weeks left, and it’s fun to have everyone together. You can also win a lot of money.”

Lee continues by emphasizing the importance of following the rules so everyone has an enjoyable experience.

“The safe zones are school property and everyone’s houses so no one can get out in these places,” Lee said.

Senior Assassin started on April 19 and will last until graduation. There is a $5 fee to play, and the winners can win a whopping $600. With 120 participants, the competition is sure to be intense.

Although registration closed on April 18, Lee urges those who want to follow this journey to follow @lambertseniorassassin2024 on Instagram.

“Basically, people have to record themselves eliminating their victim and send it to our Insta,” Lee stated. “We will then repost everyone’s so people can follow along.”

Senior Assassin has already begun with multiple students accepting their defeat. On behalf of the Lambert Post, good luck and stay dry.
