From warm lattes to refreshing lemonade, Lambert Branding Company (LBCO) is known for their delicious drinks. Longhorns will be excited to hear that LBCO is launching several new seasonal drinks in celebration of the festive holiday spirit.

For a limited time from the beginning of December to mid-January, LBCO will sell peppermint mocha and hot chocolate. Unlike the past years, LBCO will add sprinkles and whip cream to their hot chocolate as a bonus.

The peppermint mocha will be $3.50 for 16 ounces in either hot or cold temperature, while the hot chocolate will be $2. These drinks will be sold during the morning and both lunch periods.

Paheli Patel, one of the workers at LBCO, was confident in the sales of their seasonal drinks.

“What I expect to see is less people buying our most popular drinks, which are the caramel macchiatos, and more people wanting to try this,” Lambert senior Paheli Patel said.

Riddhi Goenka, another Lambert senior, had the opportunity to try both of these drinks in the past.

“My favorite one is the peppermint mocha, which I personally believe is better than Starbucks,” Goenka said, “mostly because the minty flavor complements the coffee instead of overpowering it.”

Patel seconded Goenka’s opinion, gushing about the unique taste of LBCO’s peppermint mochas while also appreciating their hot chocolate.

“I think that the hot chocolate is a little too sweet for my taste.” Patel commented. “ I really like the bitter taste of the coffee in the peppermint mocha, but the hot chocolate is better than other hot chocolates because we make it out of milk.”

Be sure to stop by the LBCO, located next to the 1600 hallway. Celebrate the holidays with a drink made by your fellow Longhorns!
