Lana Del Rey is one of the most iconic women alternative singers of this generation. She has had many new albums since her debut in 2011.

Her newest album, “Blue Banisters” recently came out and sparked excitement among the Lambert student body. Lana Del Rey fan, Jimena Ruano is one of them.

“I’m loving the Lana content!” Jimena exclaimed, “Her last album ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club’ brought me absolute joy, but I’m excited to see how much more I can learn about her through this new album!”

The album came out on October 22, 2021, which is very close to her previous album which came out March 19, 2021. This raised concerns about the quality of the album since the dates were so close. Luckily, the album is a huge success.

Fellow Lana Del Rey lover and Lambert alumni Alex Ruano describes the new album as being,

“Her [Lana’s] best album, consisting primarily of her earlier music with a much more mature take and powerful vocals.”

The best song on the album is definitely “Dealer,” it is so unique from the rest of her songs with a different sound and exciting, loud vocals. Some may complain that besides “Dealer,” the album is filled with too many piano ballads. Still, no one can deny her beautiful sound and voice.

Needless to say, “Blue Banisters” has been a success among fans here at Lambert High School. We are excited to now be in this new era that is “Blue Banisters,” but the “Chemtrails Over the Country club” era will definitely be missed by all!
