I saw a small puddle of water, and didnt think anything of it. Walking by it, these colors caught my eye. I was in a shopping mall parking lot, of all places, and just wanted to go home, but I had to stop and take a picture of this. The colors blend beautifully and brightened up my day. - Lacey Ewers

This piece is called True Beauty- It shows two roses, one real, and one fake. While the fake rose is perfect in all regards, the real rose is shriveled, discolored, and has many imperfections. This goes to say that although we all have imperfections, it is these imperfections that make us real, and no matter what, we should be true to ourselves. -Natasha Ramaswamy

My family and I were driving up to our condo in Breckenridge, Colorado for our family ski trip this winter break. The way the sun was shining through the snow filled clouds struck me as beautiful. Also the way that it looked as if we were driving into an endless sea of snow covered mountains, and away from the busy life of city folk, was calming. The way the car mirror and my dads shoulder are in the picture reminded me of the things I love to do.
