Varsity volleyball has been shining on the court this season with an outstanding record of seventeen to two. With four non-conference games left in the season, the Longhorns have high hopes for a championship. They are third in their state division and ranked at number ten in the state of Georgia for high school volleyball. Lambert will be facing Sandy Creek, Columbus, Northside Columbus, and Woodward for their Elite Eight Tournament on Saturday, October third.

The girls have really picked themselves up this season compared to last year’s record of twenty four to thirteen.

The Longhorns have been on the path to success with their head coach, Coach Hall. She has won Forsyth County News Coach of the Year twice and she has had an extensive volleyball career that includes being inducted into the hall of fame at the Sunshine State Conference. Coach Hall has been coaching at Lambert for many years and has definitely shown her loyalty and hard work with how she coaches the girls. She has done a good job of training the team and preparing them for the court.

The Longhorns had three explosive wins against Chattahoochee last night, and are eager to win the rest of their games. Come out and support the Lambert Volleyball Team! They are full of vim and vigor this season and are worth the watch.
