Lambert football boasts another group of commits this spring who will go on to bring their skills and work ethic to the collegiate level. Seniors Matthew Franatovich, Ethan Daughtery, Bryce Flynt and Luke LeMoine committed to Berry College on Feb. 2, 2026 and are elated to start their college football journey.
Committing to a college is a big decision for athletes, for which they have to consider the campus culture, coaching staff and career opportunities. This is because they need to ensure that they are going to a college that fits their needs and wants. When asked why he decided to commit to Berry College, Franatovich noted some of the key reasons that impacted his signing decision.
“It’s a beautiful campus [Berry College],” Franatovich explained. “My biggest thing is life after college, and I felt like Berry gives me the best opportunity to get whatever I want to do in life,”
Another key aspect of choosing where to commit is the influence from leadership the athletes have received throughout their high school career, which can impact their performance and experience with their sports. Flynt credits his coaches and family for helping him through Lambert Varsity Football.
“Coach Haynes, Coach Beach and my dad just really pushed me to be the better person I am today and be a better football player,” Flynt said.
Being part of Lambert’s varsity football team can be a strenuous commitment due to the difficulty of balancing school and sport workloads. However, with the right guidance and mindset, players can achieve their sports dreams just like these Berry College commits.
“Work hard and never give up,” Flynt advised. “And when your time comes, take that opportunity.”
Thanks to their hard work and dedication as part of the Lambert Football team, these athletes are sure to see many more successes as part of college football and beyond. Lambert is proud to send off these athletes to make an even greater impact at the collegiate level, and wishes them the best of luck in their college football journey!
