My name is Cayla Vanderzanden. I’m a 15 year old freshman at Lambert. I was so nervous going in to high school and although it is a lot of work, journalism gives me a break. Journalism allows me to do the thing that I love most, other than listen to music: write. I took classes like  yearbook to get prepared in middle school. I have won a writing contest in elementary school and was an entrant in another in 8th grade.
